A Day in the Life as an Outside Sales Representative

As an Outside Sales Representative, you enjoy meeting new people and arrive for your appointments promptly and present yourself professionally. After warmly greeting potential customers and listening to any concerns they may have, you conduct a thorough evaluation of their HVAC needs. You then recommend and clearly explain possible solutions, providing them with accurate estimates. You easily establish a good rapport with them while offering the best solutions for their HVAC needs.

Though you love interacting with people, you are also organized and goal-oriented. Using your analytical side, you forecast sales and carefully plan out your month, quarter, and year in order to regularly achieve personal and team goals. You also stay current on competitor product offerings and industry trends. You feel great about making our clients' homes more comfortable while driving our revenue so that we can keep doing what we do. And, seeing your efforts pay off in your paycheck gives you a great sense of accomplishment!

Are you self-motivated and able to work independently? Do you have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms? Qualifications for an Outside Sales Representative

  • Sales experience

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Knowledge of HVAC a plus

  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record

  • Attention to detail and follow-through

  • Self-motivated and self-managed

Job Tasks:

  • Meet with customers in homes
